replace an old home entertainment centre (with bespoke
sub-woofer/speaker set up) with something more generic and flexible. The
Onkyo fitted the bill perfectly. With six HDMI inputs, and just about

devices. I kept the old speakers, but replaced the old proprietary
subwoofer with a seperate active one, and it works great. The Onkyo
upgrades both picture and sound to the highest spec it can, which is a
great improvement on what I had before. The Onkyo comes network ready,

entertainment is a doddle. The remote control can be programmed to
control just about any third-party device you care to think of by means

This is my second Onkyo and I couldn't be more pleased. I have complete
control of every aspect of the receiver with my iPhone from anywhere in
my house. It sounds crisp, clean and rocks my Polk monitor speaker set
up. I got it for $280 shipped.
Did some long research before purchasing this receiver. Really like all
the Internet radio apps like Pandora and Spotify, although I think you
have to have a paid subscription to use Spotify. It did not work for me.
Like how it works with iPhone and iPad apps to control receiver inputs
and volume. The free app from Onkyo is a little buggy at times but for
